VolunteerSpot is FREE. Yes, it’s true. If you are a volunteer organizing other volunteers, we are pleased to support your efforts with these free tools.
Can I use VolunteerSpot for non-volunteer activities?
Absolutely! While our site is intended mainly for non-profits and community-based volunteers organizing other volunteers, we know you are using VolunteerSpot in other ways. Everyone loves simple tools that help groups of all types
get things done. If you want to gather a group of people to get things done (even if it’s all for fun), VolunteerSpot is the place for you.
Scout troops, school libraries, carnivals, fun runs, and parent-teacher conferences could all benefit from a little VolunteerSpot!
VolunteerSpot respects the privacy of its users. We collect the minimum information needed to provide service and will not sell, share or otherwise provide contact information you submit to VolunteerSpot to any third party.
Communication between activity organizers and group members is central to the VolunteerSpot service. In order to send messages to your volunteers and group members through the VolunteerSpot service,
we need current, valid email addresses for you and your volunteers/group members.
How do we use your volunteer/group member contact information?
When you send messages (like invitations and reminders) to your volunteers through the VolunteerSpot service,
we collect and store the contact information of the recipients.
VolunteerSpot will not sell, share or otherwise provide the volunteer contact information you submit to
VolunteerSpot to any third party.
What if some of my volunteers don’t have email access?
No problem! We realize that not all volunteers have access to email, that’s why VolunteerSpot lets organizers make assignments for people without email addresses.
