VolunteerSpot Foundation
The VolunteerSpot Foundation will be registered as a not-for-profit entity separate and distinct from the VolunteerSpot website. The Foundation will seek to attract philanthropic capital from corporations, governments, individuals and organizations worldwide. An independent board of governors will be named who will set the Foundation’s goals and policies, and a panel will also be named to review funding applications and select successful candidates. The Foundation is expected to become operational in 2009.
